About this reader

A small, bilingual prototype for testing how Taiwan STS scholarship can be curated, connected, and reviewed.

Scope and inclusion

The reader begins with focused themes rather than aiming to list all Taiwan STS scholarship. A publication is included when it offers a useful, reviewable connection to a theme and its bibliographic and annotation fields can be presented responsibly in both languages.

Direct engagement

Works that explicitly use or substantially discuss the theme’s central concept.

Related dialogue

Works that illuminate a connected problem, method, or historical context without necessarily using the same term.

Bilingual editorial method

English leads every interface and editorial annotation. Traditional Chinese follows immediately alongside it. The short annotations are editorial guides, not full translations of source texts; citations retain established scholarly formatting and source language.

Human review and prototype status

Only records marked as approved or prototype status are published in this reader. People review inclusion, relationships, citations, and bilingual wording; automation may assist later research workflows but will not publish material directly. This is a working prototype for the project owner and committee, not a finished public bibliography.
